Open Monday-Thursday 9:30am-3pm
Naturopathic Medicine encompasses a holistic approach to Primary Health Care, focusing on the treatment and prevention of health conditions through natural medicines and lifestyle change. Through a thorough assessment and patient interview, we get to know our patients at a personal level to provide support from all levels of care. Giving the body what it needs for optimal functioning allows us to stimulate and support our innate ability to heal and thrive.
Naturopathic Doctors (ND’s) are able to take the time with patients to provide individualized care and education often not available elsewhere. We may use laboratory testing or physical examination to assess the patient’s health and work alongside conventional medicine to support the best patient outcomes. Licensed by the College of Naturopaths of Ontario, we are held to exceptionally high standards of care for the utmost safety of our patients.
Dr. Kamerin holds an honours degree in Psychology and Health Studies from Queen’s University. Her fascination with plant medicines and passion for root-cause approaches for improved health led her to complete a degree in Naturopathic Medicine from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in 2009.
Having grown up in the area, Dr. Kamerin was excited to come home to establish her Naturopathic practice in Midland and has been providing full-time patient care since 2010. She is dedicated to providing care to this otherwise under serviced community.
Dr. Kamerin takes a foundational, grassroots approach in her Naturopathic practice; teaching patients about the core necessities for health and wellness and guiding them comfortably towards health optimization. Her generalist approach supports all patient needs, with common ailments including Women’s Health, Digestive Disorders and Food Intolerances, Weight Management, Autoimmune Health, Chronic Pain, Mood and Mental Health and Immune Optimization.
